Former FAI coach Eamonn Collins, who was arrested as part of an investigation into allegations of historical sexual abuse connected to the Ladies Football Association of Ireland dating back three decades, has been released from detention.
He was taken into custody in Dublin yesterday morning by officers from the Garda National Protective Services Bureau.
