A man, presumably in his late 30s or early 40s has been arrested in Bishop Lucey Park in Cork City.
The man was stopped and searched by two Garda in the Park and was held until a Garda van showed up to remove him from the scene at around half 7 in the afternoon.
This follows a number of stop and searches by Gardaí around the city today.
