Additional Charges Brought in Grace Lynch Fatal Scrambler Bike Case

The man accused of dangerous driving causing the death of 16-year-old Grace Lynch is now facing six additional charges, a court has heard.

Blanchardstown District Court heard on Friday that 18-year-old Keith Lee, of Park View Drive, Poppintree Park, Dublin 11, was formally charged with the new offences before appearing in court.

The additional charges consist of four counts of dangerous driving, one count of driving without insurance, and one count of driving without holding a valid driving licence.

Mr Lee had previously been charged with dangerous driving causing the death of Grace Lynch, who was fatally injured after being struck by a scrambler bike on the Ratoath Road in Finglas on Sunday, 25 January.

The court also heard that Mr Lee is to stand trial before a judge and jury in relation to the charge of dangerous driving causing Grace Lynch's death.

As with all criminal proceedings, the charges remain allegations at this stage, and Mr Lee is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty before the courts.
