A man suspected of attacking three women with two kitchen knives in Paris this morning was arrested, authorities said.

The suspect was detained by an off-duty police officer, whom Interior Minister Laurent Nunez praised for a “courageous act.”

Six men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the fatal stabbing of a 22-year-old man in Clapham during the early hours of Saturday.

Police were called shortly after 4:30am after reports that the victim had arrived at hospital with a stab wound. He later died from his injuries, and his family has been informed, according to the Metropolitan Police.
