The sentencing of Graham Carey has been adjourned after he requested legal representation.
Following a sentence hearing to hear pleas in mitigation, Carey informed Judge Patricia Ryan at the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court that he now wishes to instruct a solicitor.
Carey provided the court with the name of a Limerick-based solicitor and requested time to consult with him in person.
