28-Year-Old Woman Dies After Lisnaskea Road Traffic Collision

A 28-year-old woman has died from injuries sustained in a road traffic collision in Lisnaskea, County Fermanagh. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) confirmed that the collision occurred on 5 December on the Crom Road, involving a Vauxhall Insignia car and a Renault Traffic van.

The woman, Hanna Tanasova, was originally from Ukraine and had been residing in the Mayobridge area of County Down for several years. Emergency services, including the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, attended the scene and several people were taken to hospital following the crash.

Ms. Tanasova succumbed to her injuries in hospital on 26 December, more than three weeks after the collision.

The PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit remains actively investigating the incident. Officers have appealed to the public for assistance, requesting anyone with phone or dashcam footage or information that may help their inquiry to contact police on 101, quoting reference 989 of 05/12/25.
